Grid-Tied , On Grid, Utility-Interactive, Grid Intertie and Grid Back-feeding are all terms used to describe the same concept – a solar system that is connected to the utility power grid. When the solar system generates excess electricity, the excess electricity generated is exported to the grid and during requirement, Electricity is imported from the Grid. Customers can Choose between “Gross” & “Net” metering for the same.
An off-Grid solar System(off-the-grid, standalone) is the obvious alternative to one that is grid-tied. For homeowners that have access to the grid, off grid solar system are usually out of question. Here,s Why:
To ensure access to electricity at all times, off-grid solar systems require battery storage and a backup generator(if you live off-the-grid). On top of this, a battery bank typically needs to be replaced after 5/10 years. Batteries are complicated, expensive and decrease overall system efficiency.
Today Solar Lighting System is widely accepted for illumination of streets, cross roads, parks, forest areas and buildings. Solar Systems are highly preferred in urban, rural and isolated area due to its independent built-in solar panel with long life lithium batteries
and Intelligent Motion Sensor. We offer, Integrated Smart Sensor Solar LED Lights, which are base on microprocessor managed auto dusk to dawn.
A solar pump is an application of photovoltaic technology which converts solar energy into electricity to run motor
and pump. The motor powered by solar energy draws water out of the bore well, river, lake or pond.
The photovoltaic cells in solar modules convert sunlight into Direct Current (DC) electrical energy. This DC energy is then fed to the Motor Pump Set via Pump Controller in case of DC pump or via Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) in case of AC pumps (VFD controls speed of Motor). The Pumping system is a combination of an impeller and a motor; the impeller propels water movement and the motor drives the pump.
The water is propelled out of the bore well/river/lake/pond through the pipe so that water can then be fed to the fields for irrigation and other purposes. Water output varies during the day depending upon varying solar irradiance.
